My Holiday Highlight

Last week we went to my cousins house and picked hir up so we could go to Rainbow’s End. First we we went on the roll coaster we had lot of fun. After that we got in the car and went home .We ate some KFC then we went to drop my cousins off to their house .Next we finished off our KFC then we came back home I felt happy because it was fun.

Matariki

One sunny Thursday morning I came to school .suddenly Miss Szymanik toud me we were going to the museum and I was excited!. We walk to the breeze to wait for the bus to come and get us from school .We climbed into the back of the bus and went off to the museum.when we got there it was enormous.After that we all went with whaea jo in hir room. Slinky Malinki is up on a tree he was looking down at people's houses he went to snek in a house and gets thing from the house and then he went back to his house at the tall hill.

Ned show

We went to the hall to watch the nedshow all the student sat on the floor and . My favourite part of the show was when she was doing the chrtricks to the student with the yo yo and she grab the tissue and put it in her mouth and when she pull it out the tissues was coloured.

 

Going to Harold

On Tuesday we went to visitse Harold in the van and we had to watch a movie about when Harold went to the park.the video taught us how to be kind to our friends.then Lgn gave us some words to hold and we had to decide whether they were thing a good friend would do or not after that Lgn brought Harold out and we told him our ideas we had to say goodbye to Harold at the end of the lesson Lgn gave us a book I love going to Harold visit because the stars on the top of the van were  beutaful

 My Dream hoilday is going to Rarotonga because I would love to go for a hoilday case I love to go .and visit my family I will  be happy to see them  also I like going to the beautiful beach .

the museum trip

Magical Matariki

 

What is Matariki?

Matariki is a group of 7 stars. It is also the Maori new year. When I look up in the sky I can see the 7 stars. We celebrate Matariki in lots of different ways. We make kites and weave flax. We grow crops. Also we forgive people who have made us sad. We learn about how the Maori people used the stars to find their way around the place.

Snow White and the 7dwarfs

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful Queen. She wanted to have a baby girl. She called her Snow White. One day the story came true. Suddenly the mother got sick and passed away. They lived in a faraway castle. Next the King re-married an Evil Queen. The Evil Queen walked to the magic mirror. The Evil Queen said “Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?” The mirror on the wall said “you are, you are the beautiful one”. So the Evil Queen got happy. After that she came back to the mirror and she said “mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?” “Snow White is” said the mirror. The Queen said to her Huntsman to go and get Snow White’s heart. Ne could not do it. So he said to her “do not come back to your home”. Snow White ran into the forest. She fell asleep under a tree Snow White found the 7 dwarfs home. She went inside the house and looked at the mess. She cleaned it up and did some cooking. She went into the bedroom and took a nap. When she woke up she saw the 7 dwarfs and she was shocked. The 7 dwarfs said all of their names and the 7 dwarfs told Snow White “do not open the door to anyone”. Snow White was cooking and heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and there was an old Nana outside, so she opened the door and let the nana in. She gave Snow White a poison apple. Snow White dropped to the floor. The dwarfs took her into the woods and put her in a box. A prince came to see Snow White. He kissed her on the cheek and she woke up. They got married.

Writing A Letter

Today room 24 went to post our letters in the mail box. We crossed the road and we put our letter in the mail box. After that we came back to school and we had to do maths.

Melinda Szymanik

Yesterday morning Melinde Szymanik came because she is an author of children's books and she wanted to share her love of books with us. First she went to room 25 and .she read to Miss Gastons and Miss Pecks class. Next she came back to room 24 .After that she read us a story the were nana . It was about the little boy was telling his sister that Their nana was a Were nana the brother toud the little girl that the nana had claws and whiskers. Next she read a story it was the book with no pictures and we all laugh because she said boo boo but. I enjoyed the visit because the stories were fun.

Making jelly

Yesterday in the morning room24 started making jelly. First Taoro poured the crystals jelly in the bowl . Nest Miss Szymanik poured the hot water in the bowl. Kyzyl mixed the jelly crystals. MissSzymanik poured the water because room 24 mate get burnt. After that Miss Szymanik took the jelly to the fridge to set. The jelly tasted yummy and delicious I felt happy because it was yummy. 

Point England Picnic

First we went to the hall MrBurt told us the rules . We lined up and we went to the Point England beach .Then we played with clay and we can played with the sand. We got to swim at the Point England beach .Lastly  we had ounch and we packed up and went back to Point England School. I felt happy because it was fun.  

Playing with My Friends

On Saturday I played with my cousin. First we played tag and my Auntie called us to come and have dinner. After that we had a shower. Lastly we went to sleep. I felt happy.
