My Holiday Highlight

Last week we went to my cousins house and picked hir up so we could go to Rainbow’s End. First we we went on the roll coaster we had lot of fun. After that we got in the car and went home .We ate some KFC then we went to drop my cousins off to their house .Next we finished off our KFC then we came back home I felt happy because it was fun.

Matariki

One sunny Thursday morning I came to school .suddenly Miss Szymanik toud me we were going to the museum and I was excited!. We walk to the breeze to wait for the bus to come and get us from school .We climbed into the back of the bus and went off to the museum.when we got there it was enormous.After that we all went with whaea jo in hir room. When we got in the room we sat on the mat .whaea lush

Going to Harold

On Tuesday we went to visitse Harold in the van and we had to watch a movie about when Harold went to the park.the video taught us how to be kind to our friends.then Lgn gave us some words to hold and we had to decide whether they were thing a good friend would do or not after that Lgn brought Harold out and we told him our ideas we had to say goodbye to Harold at the end of the lesson Lgn gave us a book I love going to Harold visit because the stars on the top of the van were  beutaful

the museum trip

One sunny Thursday morning I came to school . Suddenly Miss Szymanik told me we were going to the museum and I was excited we walk to the breeze to wait for the bus to come and get us from school .we climbed into the back of the bus and went off to the museum.when we got there it was enormous. After that we all went with Whaea jo in hir room . When we got in the room we sat on the mat . Whea leash closed the door and she was the best telle story and we sang a song and it was pekapeka kaka ruru kiwi So Whaea less did the girl ta moko and whaea jo was doing the boys on tamoko. So we made some ipu made from clay so we got  in the bus went at the back of the bus .

What is Matariki?

Matariki is a group of 7 stars. It is also the Maori new year. When I look up in the sky I can see the 7 stars. We celebrate Matariki in lots of different ways. We make kites and weave flax. We grow crops. Also we forgive people who have made us sad. We learn about how the Maori people used the stars to find their way around the place.
